Lake Oswego
Lake Oswego is regarded as Portland’s upscale suburb. "LO" is named after the city’s noteworthy lake. Oswego Lake itself offers private access to lakefront property owners and to those residents of Lake Oswego who have an easement for use of the lake. With a location adjacent to the Willamette River, just minutes to downtown Portland and with easy access to I5 and Hwy 217, Lake Oswego will always be a sought after location for many. Lakeview Village offers boutique shopping and high restaurant venues on the plaza adjacent to the Lake in downtown Lake Oswego. Clothing retailers, furniture shopping, Peet’s Coffee and a handful of great restaurants make Lakeview Village and it's surrounding shops a must see. Located just 10 miles south of downtown Portland is Lake Oswego’s Bridgeport Village, which spans almost 30 acres including retail, restaurant, theater, and office space. Bridgeport Village offers a shopping, dining, and entertainment experience which includes an 18 cinema movie theatre. Bridgeport Village is home to Crate & Barrel, Z Gallerie, REI and The Container Store among numerous other retailers.
West Linn
West Linn, known as "the city of hills, trees and rivers", is a fast-growing residential city located 12 miles south of Portland. It has all of the advantages of being close to the urban amenities of the metropolitan area, while still retaining small town charm. As it is bordered by the Willamette and Tualatin Rivers, West Linn is home to fishing enthusiasts of all types. Kayak, canoe and boating enjoyment is available as well. The Cedaroak Boat Ramp Park offers access to the river, wildlife viewing, fishing and hiking trail access. West Linn’s quaint historic Willamette neighborhood is the host of the city’s annual West Linn Old Time Fair, summer farmers markets, local restaurants, sports bars, and mom and pop shops. The West Linn school district is among the most reputable in Oregon.
Wilsonville
Gateway to Oregon’s wine country, Wilsonville, Oregon is situated in the lush horticultural growing area of Oregon. Wilsonville is also the location of major high technology companies such as Mentor Graphics, Nike, and Xerox. With the Willamette River flowing through town and acres of public parks and gardens within the city, Wilsonville is a special place to work and live. Located in the midst of Wilsonville, Town Center Park is an attraction with activities for all ages. The park includes a large interactive waterfall and wading pool, a half court basketball court, a pavilion, play structures, picnic tables and benches for enjoying warm summer days. The park is situated near the Wilsonville Chamber of Commerce, and the Oregon Korean War Veterans Memorial. Golfers will want to try Charbonneau Golf and Country Club, a twenty seven hole public golf course. The executive course is open all year, and the beautifully maintained layout will give every golfer a challenge. Wilsonville is only an hour away from all of the recreational opportunities of the Cascade Mountains and the ocean beaches. Also, the cultural, shopping and recreational activities of the Portland metropolitan area are just 17 miles north.
